Double Homicide in Rondon do Pará

 Almost three years since the double homicide that shook Rondon do PA

 The investigations remain unresolved

 The double murder took place at 8:30 pm on July 10, 2021, in the municipality of Rondon do Pará, 538 kilometers from Belém, the state capital.

 The victims were Lailson da Silva Nascimento and Lucas Barbosa de Freitas. They were shot dead on Rua César Brasil, in the city center.

 According to the police, Lailson and Lucas were drinking and talking, sitting in front of a popular bar when two gunmen on motorcycles arrived. The pillion rider then got out and shot towards Lailson, who was the real target of the criminals. However, Lucas, who was next to Lailson, was also hit and ended up succumbing to his injuries.

 Then, the killers fled, taking an unknown direction. Neither they nor the vehicle used in the action were identified, as they were wearing helmets and there were few video surveillance cameras at the scene.

 According to information provided to the newsroom, Lailson died at the Municipal Hospital of Rondon do Pará. Lucas, on the other hand, was admitted to a hospital in Marabá, but died. The crime is being investigated by the Civil Police. So far, no solution

 The atmosphere in the city remains tense regarding the issue. Bear in mind that Lailson and Lucas were popular and had many friends.

 The cycle of friendships includes student Paulo Vitor Souza Ramos, 26 years old, who was at risk of death. He has been missing for several days. Paulo Vitor, would have witnessed the double murder in which criminals killed two of his friends.

 New facts are happening and causing fear in society. It turns out that other friends of Lailson and Lucas fear being hit. One of them, whose name has not yet been revealed, like Paulo Vítor, is also being persecuted and has never been seen in the municipality again.

 According to information from the public, other families are concerned about impunity for the double murder. Because of this, Henrique's parents, Higor and Rafael (surnames were not passed on to our production), go through difficult times, believing that their children, also friends of Lailson and Lucas, are insecure.

 What is certain is that almost three years have passed. Family members have lost their loved ones and are asking for justice. The city experienced moments of terror. Meanwhile, the perpetrators of the double murder remain at large, without identification.
